Part 5 – Install ‘All In One Seo’
WordPress is pretty good at SEO, but as we are creating our own website, we need it to be better. The ‘All in One SEO’ plugin allows you to edit the Meta Data for each page, either when you create it or go back and edit it. It does a lot more in the background, but that’s for another tutorial
- Click on the Plugins option

- Click Add New

- Type in All in One SEO and then click Search

- Click on the Install Now link

- Click OK

- Click Activate Plugin

- We now need to configure ‘All In One SEO’ So click on the Settings option at the bottom Left

- Click the All In One SEO option

- Make sure the Enabled option is ticked

- You now need to enter the Meta Data for the Home Page. You should know what to write as we discussed this in the Search Engine Optimisation page

- Once you are happy click the Update Options button, don’t worry if you don’t get it right first time you can always re-edit it later

- To return to the WordPress dashboard, clic on the Dashboard option at the top left
